Just to clarify what seems to be the convention (since this is still a part
of the language that is rather new given that digicams have only really been
around for a decade or so)... it seems digicam is used to refer to digital
(still) cameras. Videocam/videocorder/camcorder seem to be short forms for
video records (insert digital when necessary).
