Dan, Lee, Bill, Bob, Mike and I were able to clear off Osprey yesterday. It was
really hard work and they did an amazing job. The snow is very hard and there’s
about an inch of ice below it. But it is melting fast. Because we could only
get 1 court done in 4 hours, the court next to it (Eagle) melts and drips down
hill onto Osprey during the day, and then freezes at night.
We will have only 1 court available tomorrow on Saturday, and we will likely
have to spend some time burning off the ice. It’s supposed to get to 28 degrees
tonight.
We will start at 12 noon on Saturday. We’ll dry snow melt and remove any
unmelted ice.
There will be play in Montague at 11 today and tomorrow. Lee and I have played
there a few times this week and it’s really nice - dry and clear.
