For those who don’t know it, last year many of us had a fun time playing at the
Yreka Y. You don’t have to be a member, and it costs $5 per day to play. We
don’t have an exact time when they will open but think it’ll be around the end
of October. It is indoors but Brandon, the manager says the action is not
recirculated and is filtered for viruses. Currently, this is our only option
for indoor winter play.
Here’s an update From Brandon:
I just wanted to reach out and let you know we have been working hard on
upgrading the gymnasium here at the Y! Pickle ball lines are being painted as
I write this email which is very exciting. Our next steps are to paint the
gym and install sound deafening panels which will cut down on the “Tin can”
feel J The goal of the project is to be finished by the end of October. If
you could do me a huge favor and please spread the word for Pickle Ball
during the cooler weather months it would be greatly appreciated!
