Chico Tournament A Big Success for MSPC Players!
Your fellow players did well at the Chico Tournament this weekend. On
Saturday Aaron and Enrigueta Paredes took gold for first place in the Mixed
3.0 Division. This was their first tournament! Nicole Cooper and Ken
Brummel-Smith played a competitive set of games and got to the quarter-finals
in Mixed 3.5 play. The next day Nicole and Enriqueta teamed up to play the
Women's 3.0 Division. They took third place! Not bad for two players in their
first tournament play. On Sunday Mark Russell and Ken Brummel-Smith took gold
in the Men's 3.0 Division. It was Mark's first tournament too! It was sure
nice to be back in a tournament.
