The answers to all of your questions are indeed Yes, and my Outlook is
on SP-2. Odd....

Where you saw that "use autocorrect options when Word isn't email
editor", did you click on the Autocorrect Options button and see if
"Replace text as you type" is checked? And did you look thru the list
of Autocorrects in there and see if the one you want to work is listed
there?

If the answers to all of this are Yes, have you installed all the
service packs for Office 2002? Look in Outlook's Help menu and click on
About Microsoft Outlook...does it show SP2?=20

Okay, now that I am not using Word as my e-mail editor anymore, my
emails don't AutoCorrect. I just checked the AutoCorrect options and
"Use AutoCorrect when Word isn't the email editor" IS checked so I don't
know what's going on. Is there another place I need to check this?

Thanks,
Elise
