And further...to help you with sections, there's a great MS utility
macro you can download from my site that will show you how many sections
you have in a document and helps you jump from doc to doc, set pages,
formatting....all kinds of great stuff.

Bill. You must have a section break in there....go to the page that is
starting over at one and go to View>Header & Footer....when you see the
Header/Footer toolbar, look for the button for "Format Page
Number"....in there, there's a box that says "Continue from
Previous"...put a check in there

have an 11 page document in Word 2000 - - when I go to insert the page
numbers it only counts to 5 then starts over - - can not find what I
