===================
Is there any way to use Office XP to create a pdf document, and if so,
how is this done?
===================

As long as you purchase the PDF writer from Adobe, you can "print" an
Office XP document to the "writer" and you will get a PDF file.

OR, you can go to the Adobe site and do it free 5 times

Go here
https://createpdf.adobe.com/index.pl

Or, you can get an account there to do it as many times as you want for
$10.00 per month
