[mso] Re: backspace key troubleshooting

Just three more suggestions. <g>
1> The keyboard is plugged *ALL* the way in, right? (I so hate to ask a
question like that, sorry)
2> Look on the edge of the keyboard for a reset button. They are small. If
there is one, shut down. Push the button in, and hold it in while you boot
up. This resets the keyboard.
3> If it still happens, I have one more suggestion- If you can, take the
misbehaving keyboard to another computer and see if the same thing happens.
a. If the same thing happens, then you have a bad keyboard for some reason.
Replace the keyboard. Standard keyboards are inexpensive. They are expensive
when you get one that has card readers, programmable keys, POS keyboards,
etc.
>OR<
b. If the same thing does not happen, then the problem is in your PC. Hmm,
by any chance does this keyboard operate off of any drivers? Perhaps you can
simply update it and all will be well? Any spy ware? Any viruses? (Are your
spy ware definitions and anti virus programs up to date?)

After that, I am truly out of ideas.

Robert

nope, no battery for the keyboard...it's plugged into the CPU directly.
Thanks though...any other advice?
