Another good answer!

Now, why to they keep creeping in to my simple Outlook e-mails?

(Could it be the way some lists convert html to text?)

Thanks,

Mark

Don't use excel but I can tell you that 3D is the equal sign in =
hexadecimal.
3D and =3D are the same. Don't know if that relates but often when =
there's a
character recognition problem in email, hex characters appear. ie 20 is =
a
common one and that's hex for a space.

  Good advice - so what puts the =3D3D in your (and some of my) e-mails?

  April-

   You might try S && D. '&' is the concatenation operator so Excel =
thinks =3D
  =3D3D
  your asking for S and then the date. && will usually escape the =3D3D
  concatenation.

  Help... Can somebody help me with a good work around for this... I =
have =3D
  =3D3D a
  client who's company name is S&D... when we try to add this to a =
header =3D
  =3D3D in
  XL 2000 it constantly changes it to S01/28/02 (or some date =3D3D =3D
  variation)...

  Any idea's??
