[mso] Word Header Question

Hi Group,
I have a template which has a company logo in the header and footer section of
a page. I'm typing up an outgoing correspondence that is multiple pages.
How do I stop the header and footer from printing to subsequent pages.
I tried inserting page break - no luck (header and footer is still there).
BTW it's Word 97.
