There's no such "red dot" macro button in Word...so you're either using the
Office 2007 beta, which we can't talk about in public...you have a custom
template/macro command or you have a third party addin.

Check with your admin at your job to ask where it came from cos' it's not an
intrinsic attribute of Word.

Subject: [mso] Word 2003 - adding "create macro" dot onto the tool bar

Hi -
I am trying to add the "create a macro" icon to my tool bar but cannot
seem to find it. I have the same software on my pc at work and somehow was
able to add. It shows up as a Red Dot on the tool bar = when it works
correctly.

I've done a right click on the bar above, gone down to CUSTOMIZE, clicked on
the COMMAND TAB, and under TOOLS, I can find the green arrow for MACROS...
but at work I have the round RED DOT and when I click on it the macro Record
pops up and I'm ready to create a macro.

Thanks for your help
