There's no such "red dot" macro button in Word...so you're either using the Office 2007 beta, which we can't talk about in public...you have a custom template/macro command or you have a third party addin. Check with your admin at your job to ask where it came from cos' it's not an intrinsic attribute of Word. Dian D. I have the same software on my pc at work and somehow was able to add. It shows up as a Red Dot on the tool bar = when it works correctly. I've done a right click on the bar above, gone down to CUSTOMIZE, clicked on the COMMAND TAB, and under TOOLS, I can find the green arrow for MACROS... but at work I have the round RED DOT and when I click on it the macro Record pops up and I'm ready to create a macro. Thanks for your help Gaynel in Indy ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
