Made a Discovery -
If you use paste special Layout will allow you to record position and
zorder.
If you use plain paste Layout is not an option.

So unless there is something I havent clicked or dropped down for
options this seems to be my only choice - paste special.

Subject: [mso] Word 2000 Macro - PowerPoint 2000 Slide

Hello,

Word/PowerPoint 2000

When I try to record a macro to resize and reposition a ppt slide,
format object will allow me to resize but not change layout (layout area
is grayed out).

I can change layout as much as I want when macro recorder is closed
(stopped, paused) but as soon as I initiate the recorder, layout area
goes 'dead.'

I successfully did this the other day, but not this time.

Any ideas?

Carol Parent
