It's certainly possible to embed external php pages (eg a bulletin board/forum) into a FrontPage website - I've done with with FP 2002. Whether a whole site designed in php would work I couldn't say. I say that because PHP is a competitive language to ASP. ASP is a Microsoft language. And although PHP will work with IIS...the Microsoft server, ASP is the default language for IIS. So although it MAY be support...my guess is that it would be difficult to get it working correctly since MS just loves to make other languages (other than their own) more difficult to use on their equipment/servers or within their software. They're getting better at it...but still do it with a "huff." Dian D. Chapman -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cindy D. Dahl Sent: Monday, January 16, 2006 4:10 PM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Website development I am contacting you because the company I work for is looking at developing a couple of websites. We would like to have someone initially design it for us, but would like to do all updates ourselves. I have used Adobe GoLive and Microsoft Frontpage. We have a guy who is willing to initially set up our webpages in HTML format (i.e. http://www.marcuspohl.com/html/intro.php). I am wondering if we could take this directly into Frontpage for doing our updating? Also, wondering if Frontpage websites can be brought into PowerPoint for presentations? Or a PowerPoint presentation brought into Frontpage as a website? Any info on these topics would be helpful. Thank you, Cindy D.
