Adobe Reader 6.0, which is a free download from the adobe.com site, has a
choice under File/PrintMe Internet Printing that will allow you to set up a
free account. It installs a printer called 'PrintMe' like an Adobe printer
choice, and when you print from any windows program, including Word, and
choose the 'PrintMe' printer, you can fax your document directly from your
desktop program. Sends a fax confirmation or error message (if applicable)
to the email inbox set up in your registration.

Hi Chuck...I know you've posted this question a few times here and I didn't
want you to think you were being ignored.

But...my answer is only this...I remember way back when I worked helpdesk
and troubleshot Word 97 and yes, I do remember many people having problems
with the fax stuff...however, I can't remember if or how we fixed it.

I rarely do faxing...and if I do, I use the software that came with my fax
machine and NOT Word...so, I can't help you.

Sorry.

Office 97 and am having trouble getting it to work.

I appreciate any help that you can give.
