Yes, Visio HAS been part of the Office "family" for a few years now. MS
bought then out back around 2000 I think???

But I'm BCCing my good buddy over in VisioLand in the hopes that he can
provide some additional info. I don't know about the upgrade??? You MIGHT
have to have purchased an official MS version to get into the official
upgrade deals???? They may have had some special a long time ago when Visio
was first purchased from the original company...but that would have long
since passed. Where have you been?<g>

Subject: [mso] Visio: part of Office?

This might not be a pure office question, so please don't pound me.

Is it true that Visio is now part of the Microsoft Office family?

If it is true, then I have a question: I have Visio 4.0, made by Visio
Corporation. How does one upgrade from Visio 4.0 to Microsoft Visio? If that
is possible, that is.

If it is not true, I will drop the inquiry on this list.

Thank you.

Robert
