Hi,

This is a question on a lesson in Dian Chapman's Word 301 Advanced class
at EA. Dian is away for a few days and although I could post my question
there, I'd have to wait until mid-week for a reply and the weekend is about
the only chance I get to work on these assignments. So here's my question.

I've never used the VBE before and the first thing we're told to do in this
lesson is described this way:

"Open Word. Hit Alt/F11 to open the VBE. Double-click on the NewMacros
module to make sure you are working inside the proper module."

My problem is that there is no NewMacros module displayed. The screen shot
she included shows a tree view structure of:

Normal
...Microsoft Word Object
...Forms
...Modules
......Diane
......NewMacros
......TestCode

What displays in my case is:

Normal
...Microsoft Word Object
......ThisDocument

She did go on to explain:

"I have several code modules, but you'll most likely have only the default
NewMacros module. Double click it to make sure you're within that module
and to open it if it's not already open."

Can anyone help with this? As you can see, there is no Modules file
displayed
at all in my case. Since this was the very first instruction in the lesson
I
know I didn't miss doing any required steps before this part so can't
imagine
what's making the difference.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Diane
