Not really true, tj...Darlene is correct when she says replying to a
message
and just changing the subject WILL mess up the archives...even tho you
change the subject, becuz you "replied", the message is still seen as
part
of the previous "thread" and is therefore screwed up in the archives.=20

Nah.  Replying works fine.  You could, however, help those with dialup
connections by deleting the junk at the bottom of each mail.  :)

Not sure about protecting Pub files.  I'll leave that to someone else.
