Nope...that's what I said when Dian originally started this thread.  As far
as I know, the best way to copy from Word to FP is to copy to notepad first,
then copy to FP.

Most of my ABC writers send me their articles in Word docs, so I copy them
to notepad, then copy to FP and insert the graphics manually, otherwise I
end up with totally messy code and all the graphics are xml, which then
prompts some people to download some xml addin or something when they try to
view these pages, so I don't want that cuz it freaks the newbies out  LOL

Michele (who posted earlier on the list) was kind enough to send me the
code for me to look at.

It has all the characteristics (e.g., lots of "span class" of text
developed in Word and then moved to FP as HTML)

So . . . given this, Michele asked how I'd proceed

One way is to copy all the text from FP into Notepad and then copy it
back and then use FP to change fonts and coloring.

Does anyone else have a simpler "trick"?
