Well, Ivan...if rebooting fixed it, then I have to say it was either
resources or something else that was running that was no longer running
after the reboot...OR a bad temp file that got deleted by Windows on reboot.

In Word 2000, all of a sudden spell check wasn't working. So, we re-booted
the computer and it's working again. Why does this happen? I know why
re-booting restores system resources, etc. But, spell check? Hmmm....Any
ideas here?
