Ok...first of all, Publisher is NOT on the cusp...if you go to the homepage
for this group, you will see it says this:

"Welcome to the Microsoft Office group at freelists. This is a free group
for people who want to discuss problems or questions relating to all of the
Microsoft Office programs:

Access
Excel
FrontPage
Outlook
 PowerPoint
Publisher
Word "

So...with that being said, what version of Publisher are you using? They
are all so different. But, in the more recent versions...if you go to the
Tools menu and select Commercial Printing Tools, then click on Fonts....you
should see a font substitution button in there.

Subject: [mso] Publisher question on fonts

Is there a way to globally search for font-formatted text in a Publisher
document? I've got a font in a 56-page document which can't be embedded.
The frustrating this, I don't think I'm even using the font for anything
except maybe a leftover space, and I can't get rid of it ...
And if the answer is no, is there a work-around? Maybe I could run a font
substitution or something like that, but I can't an option like that.

I know I'm on the cusp here, what with Publisher trying to slink out the
Office package ...

Regards,

Beth Lee
