ok I did the detect and repair, opened like 30 attachments with no problems (but then again, I had no problem opening them before, just her). I'll let you know if it comes back. -----Original Message----- From: Linda F. Do you mean she's opening a Word doc attached to an email in Outlook? Or she's using Word as her email editor and all attachments lock her up? A woman in my office is constantly getting this error message when she tries to open attachments to emails, I dont know what she's doing to get it, she says she's just opening them. When I look at her system the error is up, then I click ok and Word locks up and I have to kill it with the task manager. I then open up a few attachments no problem... 20 minutes later she calls me up saying it's there again. Only article I've been able to find relates to trying to print a document from the File->Open dialog (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;303957) but that's not what she's doing. Word 2002 with SP2 on XP Pro. Any suggestions? Thanks. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
