I'm trying to export my .pst from my desktop and then import it into my laptop to ensure I have my recent mail when I travel with the laptop. Don't know what I could be doing wrong or what might be set up improperly to cause this, but here's what's happening. Using Outlook's Import/.Export Wizard, I seem to successfully generate a backup.pst from Outlook on the desktop. However, when I use the wizard on the laptop to import that backup.pst I get a message saying" The source and destination folders for this operation cannot be the same." The backup.pst from the desktop was saved in C:\temp and when the Import Wizard on the laptop asks for a location of the file to be imported, I navigate through our network to C:\temp on the desktop. I've done this successfully in the past with other versions of Outlook so I thought the process being used was correct. Any ideas on where I should be looking to see what the issue is now? My desktop is Windows 2000, and the laptop is Windows XP, both using Outlook 2003. Thanks in advance for any help.
