Let me try this again. For some reason the first time I sent this it
displayed as garbage.

Here's a tip for those of you who print PowerPoint handouts and would like
to have ruled lines for note
taking on the handouts. Many of you may already know about this, but I
didn't so I thought I'd share...trying to pay back a bit for all of the help
this group has given me.

Let?s say you want to pass out some handouts of your presentation and allow
your audience to take notes. Well, it?s a bit easier to write on ruled
lines. But, the available handout styles don?t give you an area to write,
let alone one with ruled lines. If you print Note Pages you get a writing
area but no ruled lines.

There?s a built-in but little-used feature that will fit your needs. All you
need to do is click on the File menu and select Send To then choose
Microsoft Word. You?ll be presented with a dialog of the following choices:

- Notes next to slides
- Blank lines next to slides
- Notes below slides
- Blank lines below slides
- Outline only

By choosing Blank lines next to slides or Blank lines below slides you?ll
get the desire rules lines in Microsoft Word which you can print and hand
out.

Diane
