I'm trying to paste in some data from a website into excel and am having a
little issue. One of the columns of data is formatted like this - 1/3 or
2/4 or 0/3 etc. When I paste it into excel it converts the data to a date
string (3-Jan, 4-Feb, etc). Any column with the 0 in front goes in as it
should, but the others all convert to a date, how can I convert it back to
the original number or retain the original formatting? I tried formatting
the cell(s) as a fraction or plain text but that just made it a big number.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
