Ken

You will be getting interference from AVG if it is either downloading an
update or performing a full system check. It's not as noticeable as
Norton's effects but it will have an impact nevertheless.

But I endorse Dian's recommendation - don't use Word for emails! Apart from
anything else all the embedded formatting (which you don't see on the
finished article) makes for bulky mails which can be annoying for your
recipients if they don't have fast connection speeds!

The runaway is not an issue today. Working better today.
I thought about archive, but no folder was created, and I had specifically
canceled the request of doing an archive.

Antivirus is AVG free.

But I like to use Word for email. :)

Thanks for your answer.

If you're using Norton antivirus...turn off the Office plugin.

If you're using Word as your email editor...stop.

Outlook2000 is consuming 95% of my CPU usage.I have tried stopping the
Outlook process which works only until Outlook is reopened.
OS= XP Pro
What gives.
Any way to stop the drain?
