Ok...some workaround solutions here, Anthony, cuz, as far as I know, Tasks
won't do what you want (that's why I prefer to just make appts. For this
stuff show it WILL show in my calendar.

If you set your Calendar to the weekly view, the task pad will show on the
right, so you can see your tasks that are current. Unfortunately, tasks do
not show up here until the day they are scheduled to begin. If you want to
see them sooner, then you need to look in your Tasks folder. (weird but
true....I know)

If you right click on the title bar of the Task Pad, you will see Field
Chooser....you can click on that, then choose the Field "Due Date" and drag
it from there to your Task Pad title bar so you can see it there.

And sorry...since I don't really use the task pad cuz it just doesn't suit
my needs, I have no idea if you can organize sub tasks the way you want.

Hope you enjoyed your lunch...I'm off to have my dinner now ;-)

Subject: [mso] Outlook calendar and tasks

Folks-

I have been beaten into submission and now must start using my Outlook
calendar, so others can book my time. I have never used the calendar or the
tasks before. I do have a few questions.

If when I create a task and it has a due date, can that date appear on the
calendar?

If when a create a task and it has other related/dependant tasks how can I
set up outlook to view all related/dependant tasks. Main task might be 'eat
a sandwich' and sub task of that might be, 'buy bread'. Can the tasks be set
up this way?

Using Outlook 2000 and Exchange.
