Hi Sally,

I assume that the attachment is a file with a .exe extension. Have you
tried zipping the file before attaching it? Not only will this probably
make it a little smaller but it may circumvent an issue that some Antivirus
programs have with executable attachments (though you don't mention any
error messages or warnings).

Zipping files for attaching to email is generally good practice, anyway.
That way you can include a number of files in one attachment with the
benefit of a smaller attachment (especially in the case of Office documents
- Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access data files all benefit from
compression).

Windows XP will compress files on its own but Winzip gives you better
control.
