I've got no idea what the "red ribbon" means, Charles.  Here's a page
that shows what all the icons in your inbox look like and what they
mean, tho I can't see one there with a red ribbon on it.  Maybe this was
put there by your AV program or your firewall, if it's not one Outlook

I received this message on a list I'm on, and it has an attachment to
it.
The question is, you know the mail indicator (status)? Wll the envelope
has
what looks like a red ribbon on it. I have never seen this before, any
idea
what it is and/or mean?  The attachment that is shown is a .dat file. I
checked the logs of NAV and AVG and niether has any entry as far as this
message is concerned.
