Amy...as far as I know, you aren't doing anything wrong.  I just did what
you said and I was able to make the task page much smaller. However, the
task pad can not be any smaller than the width of the Date Navigator (the
small monthly calendar above it).  If you want the date navigator to be
smaller, you have to decrease it's font size...to do that, go to
Tools>Options and click on the Other tab, then click on the Advanced Options
button and you will see in there that you can change the size of the Date
Navigator font.

Hi All,

I use the Outlook 2000 calendar to (attempt) to keep myself organized.  When
viewing the calendar in "week" view, with the TaskPad showing, which is my
default view, the TaskPad is much wider than necessary.  When I click and
hold on the dividing line, the usual symbol for dragging a column width
shows up, but the divider won't move.  What am I missing?  Something simple,
I am sure.
