On computers with Wind= ows XP one can initiate the "all users" property but on ME I don't see a solution.=0D By the way, on another computer with Windows ME I have Office 2000 instal= led and there is no problem. =0D Errol=0D =0D -------Original Message-------=0D =0D From: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=0D Date: Wednesday, January 29, 2003 19:17:36=0D To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=0D Subject: [mso] Re: Office XP & ME=0D =0D This usually happens when Office is improperly installed under the wrong=0D user rights, when logged in under admin rights. I don't know the exact=0D cause or fix, but chances are if you log into the system with admin=0D rights it'll work ok, but when you login as the user, it won't. If that=0D does happen, it has something to do with the security rights and how the=0D system was setup. Sorry I don't know more details. Unfortunately, once=0D fixed no admin has ever bothered to come back with details of he fix. =0D =0D Dian Chapman=0D Technical Consultant, Instructor,=0D Microsoft MVP & TechTrax Editor=0D =0D Word AutoForm/VBA eBook: http://www.mousetrax.com/books.html=0D Tutorial web site: http://www.mousetrax.com/techpage.html=0D TechTrax Ezine: http://www.mousetrax.com/techtrax/=0D =0D -----Original Message-----=0D From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On=0D Behalf Of errol=0D Sent: Wednesday, January 29, 2003 12:58 AM=0D To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=0D Subject: [mso] Office XP & ME=0D =0D =0D =0D Hi All=0D I recently installed Office Xp on Windows ME connected to a Windows 2000=0D server. Now for every user that logs on to that computer, I have to=0D partially re-install Office. Any Ideas on how to make the Office=0D programs available to any user without the need to re-install it every=0D time.
