If you already have a functioning printer, just make it the default then
see what happens. You may want to reboot after setting the default just
in case the Epson loaded something that would interfere with the testing
process. As you may be able to tell, I have a background as Help Desk
support...reboot is always the answer ;) /g

I was just going to reply to your PowerPoint questions Robert and ask if
it might perhaps be a printer problem. Here's a suggestion, install a
new printer as you normally would...any default, preferably an HP will
do. The reason I say HP is because it's what I know. Set this fake
printer as the default then look at your problem PPT...see what happens.

Glenda- thank you.

I have three other printers (2 HP and 1 Epson Stylus), and everything I
have in my computer will print to all three just fine. The more I
consider what it is doing versus what it is not doing, the more I begin
to suspect it is the printer itself. I guess I will have to contact
Epson, but I have a funny feeling they are going to simply blame
Microsoft and suggest I contact Microsoft. (I can't blame Microsoft, it
worked before.)

Knowing this, should I go ahead and install a new printer?

I just tried to print this email to the CX6400 to see what the printer
panel displays. It actually displays 'PRINTING' when it goes to print
something, but does not print anything for 30 minutes, so I cancel out.
It used to start printing in 20 - 30 seconds whereas my other printers
start printing in less than 5 seconds. (Anyone know why the difference?)

Thank you.

Robert
