Jane,

Try the following sites; the second lists endless registry settings to
change the little bugger :)

Subject: [mso] Office Assistant - registry setting

Hello,

I'm being driven insane by an Office Assistant in Word97 that keeps
appearing each time I logon (it's running on Win2k terminal server). I
expect there must be a registry setting that isn't being saved correctly.
Does anyone know what the registry setting is to turn the Office Assistant
off? Or any other good advice...

Jane
