PROPLUS.MSI is the installation file that was distributed with the corporate
version of Office Pro. Make sure you have a legit copy of Office, as this
version was distributed on the web for download and is not legit. If you got
it that way, that's the problem. If you installed it from a corporate
version and are looking on a consumer Professional version CD, you won't
find it.

You should uninstall that version and reinstall with your legit professional
(consumer) CD version so you won't be hit by this request for future
updates.

Subject: [mso] Re: Office 2003 Professional Trial version

Hello -
I have problem: when I receive 'update' downloads from MS, I click on the
box and it attempts to upgrade my MSOffice until I get a window that pops up
asking for the PROPLUS.MSI file and wants to search my CD. I put the CD in
and it's not there.
1. I've searched the CD and it's not on there
2. I've searched my PC and it's not on there
3. When I search the web, it's very complicated and there are lots of
different answers....

What can I do to fix this?
Thanks
Gaynel
