Yes. And furthr to Greg's obviously correct comments, I'd also go back to Adobe or whomever and ask them why the hell they haven't popped for the $400 to get a damn digital signature so you could use their stuff properly without the hassle! If the company is apparently SELLIING these addon templates in some way, you'd think they could use a little of the profits to make the product less of a hassle by doing it right! Personally, if I paid money for a software product addin that DIDN'T have a digital signature to allow it to be properly installed so security warnings would no longer be an issue...I'd send it back and demand a refund! If it's free, I'd evaluate just how important it is to my work and dump it if it's not vital. The palmapp.dot file is the first one to examine. I'm unfamiliar with it but it appears to be a template that supports document transport between her PDA and the desktop. It's also possible that you'll find other templates in that path that are being loaded and triggering the macro security message. Any template that is stored in the startup directory will be loaded by Word at startup so, if you and the user aren't comfortable moving the macro security to medium and allowing the macros to be enabled, you need to remove the templates from this directory.
