Thankfully, I am. It was so long that I didn't have to go near an
office...it's nice to get back into the world. However, I'm sure that'll
change once it starts to snow!<knock, knock> The "office" doesn't phase
me...it's that long drive that's not bad now...but has potential for being
"interesting!"<g>

Maybe after you're there for a while, you can convince them to let you work
from midnite to 8am...just tell them that's when you do your best stuff LOL
I feel for ya, kiddo...no matter how good a job is, I'm NEVER happy when I
work for someone else....and I don't "fit" into the office scene...I'm too
much of a loner
I'm sure you're doing fine though....pretty soon they'll all be kissing your
butt I'm sure.

9-5? Yeah, it's a bit of a shock to the system. I have to get up about
5:30am to get dressed, feed the dogs/fish...and get out around 6:30 am to
make it the 1 hr (70mph!) drive to get there by around 8am. Then I leave
around 6pm. As a consultant, I get paid for the time I put in...so it's to
my advantage to work the hours.
(And to those who question the 70mph thing when it SHOULD be 55...believe
me, I'm the one who sets my cruise at 60/65, kick back and enjoy the ride.
Especially when it's warm and the top is off the car. But during the rush on
294...even at 70mph...cars pass me by like I'm one of the slowest on the
road!<sigh> Hell...if I did 55, I'd be dead!)
