Joe is right, Scot...that's one of the reasons you HAVE to have OE installed
to run Outlook...there's just some stuff Outlook can't do..and newsgroups is
one of them.

However, if you don't want to use OE, Dian turned me onto a very nice
newsreader called Agent...and there's a free version...it is WAY better than
OE:

I don't have Ourlook 2003 but earlier versions do not handle News Groups.
You have to use Outlook express or some other News reader.
