Hi Katherine, I have to say that one of the reasons is that I'm actually terrified of doing anything with it! It's sat on the desk for months now and I've used "sneaker net" to transfer files. I'm finally trying as I said to bite the bullet. I only just moved/installed Office and its' zapped my messenger settings. I've had to uninstall all versions of IM and install again to get it to work at all. I think it's a case of the devil you don't know! I also have because of personal circumstances a bit of space and time to experiment. Keyboards are a problem at the moment for me. I'm sure the group have picked up on my miss keyins... She said typing ever so slowly... The reason is that I usually work with a "natural" kb which I love! The new machine has a ughhh! normal kb and swapping between the two is an armpit. My new machine has so many ports and slots I can't count them!!! ... But it does seem faster. I've had to get used to XP home as well. Does anyone else in the group have experiences to share about upgrading!!?? I realise this is off topic and I've tried to indicate that... apologies. > -----Original Message----- > From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On > Behalf Of Katherine Driskell Felts > Sent: 01 November 2003 02:12 > To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [mso] Re: New computer info > > > > you have a new computer and you don't have any problems > with it?!?
