Lisa,

I just found that the rules don't carry over too - you need to export them
from the old machine and import them into the new.

My Outlook project of converting from the old PST format to the new Unicode
is nearly complete - but when I type a contact into the spot that says
something like "type a contact to find here" (O2003), it can't find anything
- there must be an indexing issue I missed somewhere...

(The last time this happened, it was because my categories and the Master
Category List didn't line up - this time they do.)

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Subject: [mso] New computer info

Hi all,

FYI...

To report... I've installed office 2000 on my new ( not so new now ) machine
and had no problems so far.

I have a new computer with works and word 2002 installed.
I have office 2000 and have installed on the new machine.

I altered the name of the folder to install in to "offoce 2000"

Everything seems to have gone alright so far.
I copied an archive of my pst file to the new computer and when I opened
outlook everything seemed to be there though some things were noticable by
their abscence. The major one being that the rules weren't moved do I guess
they are not stored in the pst.

I also have none of my "macros" ooooh I hate that word!!

Do you think I have to "move" the OST file as well? Is that possible? Is
there any indexing to look after??

Regards
Lisa
