[mso] Moving Contacts from Outlook XP to Outlook97

Hi Group,
I would like to know the easiest way to move my contacts from outlook xp to
outlook 97. I have xp at home and 97 at work.
I have tried send the contacts backup.pst to my work email addy. I click to
download attachment and choose open with outlook. It say it cannot find the
file.
What did I do wrong? I'm thinking I can not import a backup.pst file. So
basically I did not do the export of contacts in XP correctly, right?
If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
