Agreed, John...and you KNOW I will not change my stance on that....but this
is not a question as to whether or not we can discuss PhotoShop and IE in
here....that's a given NO and I will NOT change my mind on that....this
discussion is more about whether we keep the group focused on problem
solving and not "opinions about Office programs"....it's really not about
what's OT....I think I made it clear when I ended that thread that I did NOT
find that thread to be OT

Hey...I know enuf about you, buddy, to know you LOVE threads where opinions
are voiced, so I'm assuming you are voting YES here? LOL

I'm another lurker, for want of a better term, but I've been a lurker for a

long time. Since this is a Microsoft Office list and the Queen's name is
Linda, I think it's her privilege to, in effect, keep it on topic. I can
see in
some tunnel vision way, this might be referred to as censorship. In my
opinion,
it's just opening the door to God knows what. Once you decide you can
discuss IE, OE, photoshop PSP and whatever other program you might have an
interest
in, where does it stop? Who decides when the OT thead has outrun it's
usefullness? Do we have to start taking votes on when a thread has truly
become OT?
This list has,in my opinion, grown into a list with such knowledgeable
members on the topic of OFFICE, that you can get virtually any office
question
either answered, or if not answered ,pointed in the right direction. If you

change the groups aim this late in the game, maybe the office experts go to
find
an Office only list. My opinion is why mess with a winning formula? After
all
this is an Office list!
