I wish it would come back. Nothing more frustrating thank having to hunt
back through older emails to find the contact details you need. Even a
check box to opt in or out of this feature would be great. Is it
something that might be reinstituted on a service pack update do you
think? The other thing that I miss is the ability to choose "any of these
options" on message rule processing - again still in Outlook Express (so
far as I know). So that for instance - if an email comes from Dian or
Linda or via MSO group it would automatically go into my MSO folder,
regardless of which email account had been used.

I believe that feature was removed for security reasons. Plus, now you
have name checking that will retain many of your most recently used names
until you can get around to adding them to your contact list...and they
also made it easier to manually add a name by right clicking an email.

I think the feature is still on OE. But OL is more the corporate email
version whereas OE is more the home user version. So there is tighter
security in OL.
