It'll depend on what code she used to link the files?
She'll have to change the field codes in all the docs. But WHY do you
want to have them embedded? Did she have a reason to link versus embed
before? Has this changed?
Know that we have a FieldLinkConverter macro on our web for more easily
converting the field paths, if that's the problem? Go to
www.mousetrax.com/techpage.html and go down to the MS Word article and
check out the Field Converter article. Make sure you take the VBA code
and not the old WordBasic code from the original article...I posted this
article way back in 97, I think. But Greg since updated it to VBA.

I just ran a link check on a client's site, and noticed she has
numerous MS Word Docs that are calling image files from her hard drive.
How can she import these into her Word docs, so they are native to the
Doc and not called from her hard drive?
Word 2000 and XP.
