Are you saying something like IIF([Gender]="Yes","F","M") on the Gender
field that is set up as a yes/no. Is your field already set up? Not sure
yet what's needed, if you could please tell us more about your Gender
field, thanks.

I want a Gender field in my records which displays only M or F and am not
bothered about a Default.
I'm sure I've done it in the past with a Yes/No data type and then
appropriate field properties but just can't get it right today.

Will somebody please put me out of my misery!!!
