Well, I guess we're just going to have to live with the slight jagged edges!
I haven't installed SP3 for Office 2000. Do you recommend it?

Unfortunately, it seems like it's a known issue...Microsoft offers some
workarounds which they say improves it but doesn't fix it

This was written about Excel 97 and PowerPoint 97, but evidently it's
never been fixed, cuz it still looks jagged here and I'm using Excel
2002....I even created a brand new 3d pie and it looked the same
Maybe you want to use a different pie other than the 3d one?

Sometimes, when we make a pie chart in Excel, it comes out with jagged
edges. Sometimes, it actually will look jagged in the spreadsheet, but
sometimes, it might look jagged but print ok!
I hope this makes sense! We're using Windows 2000 and Office 2000.
