I already did that and copy/paste. Both worked.

Found the problem... The columns need to be named EXACTLY the same

Date of Inq is NOT the same as Date_of_Inq damned

curse the underbars :( /g=20

Try importing it as a table in its own right, then run an append query
on it to write its content into the existing table.

Subject: [mso] Importing Excel to Access

I'm trying to import a small excel worksheet to an existing table in
Access.

All columns have the same names. All are formatted as text.

I can copy and paste the data to the existing Access table but when I
attempt to import I get the no help at all information message that an
error occurred and the data was not imported.

Any advice? /g
