Hello and thank you in advance i know unfortunately this has probably been
covered many times.. but i'm pushing a deadline, at work, and not time to
shuffle through the archives. That being said i hope it's real simple and i'm
just suffering a case of the monday morning brain farts ;)

What i need or i'm trying to do.. is have a word doc template  (2003)  that is
basically a form letter. boiler plate text with a few key words fields that
change one to the next. this will be done manually  it's pretty much
name/address that is changed. i have a template or a couple of them actually
that i downloaded from MS.  they have fields listed but i can't seem to prevent
or tab between the fields i want to change and the boiler plate text.

i click on the "field" it highlights and i can type.. hit enter or tab to go to
the next field it just adds a tab or paragraph mark..   i know i did this years
ago.. I just can't remember what i'm doing wrong.

any help would be appreciated.. thanks

Ohtechie
