Thanks Dian - but I haven't changed anything. Sometimes the IE window opens to a different size as a result of clicking a hyperlink in, say, an email message. Even if I resize it manually it doesn't seem to keep my preferred settings for the next time I open a new window. As for Word, I ALWAYS resize it to my preferred view size because it irritates me so much when I can't read the text on the screen! Maybe I just got a rogue copy :( Oh well - back to the bifocals. Thanks again. Same goes for IE...sounds like you set it to small last time. Anne ----- Original Message ----- From: Anne Robson To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2003 2:19 PM Subject: Word query + related but OT I have formatted almost all my Word templates to a view size of "page width". If I open a document somebody else has created (or indeed modified from my original) the view size may be different. That's fair enough but often the next time I open one of my templates the view size isn't set to my default any longer. What do I need to do to override this? Also, slightly OT, can anybody tell me (off the list if necessary) how to ensure that if I click on a hyperlink in an email the IE window will open full screen and not some itsy bitsy tiny little thing I can hardly find on my screen!
