Hiya.
Rather than putting the date straight in the formula, try wrapping it in
a DATEVALUE function, e.g. DATEVALUE("6/10/2004")

Hi Ray...I find I can get an array formula to work in Excel, if I
convert the dates to "general"....then a formula like
{=SUM((B1:B4)*(A1:A4=38148))} works....but
{=SUM((B1:B4)*(A1:A4=6/10/2004))} just gives me zero....can this be done
without changing the dates to serial numbers?
