Hi Paul. Please don't take this the wrong way, because I know you are a
new member and were perhaps hesitant to post your question in the first
place. But, this group is about Microsoft Office and not Windows. Your
question concerning Windows should be directed to a group where Windows
problems are discussed.

I hope you understand why I have to do this. If I allow one person to
get Windows advice, then the next thing you know, we're answering
Photoshop questions, then hardware questions, etc., and that's not what
this group is designed for.

A great group where you can get your Windows questions answered is
WinTips and Tricks and here's the address where you can sign up:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WinTips-Tricks/

At the beginning of the month, I send around the group rules which
explain all this in more detail.

Subject: [mso] Folders appear to be hidden

Hi All,

Just a simple one,*smile*, I have a problem where sub folders within my
"my
documents folder" appear to be hidden or have disappeared. The thing is
that when I go in there and arrow around for them I cannot find them but
yet
if I do a search for the files contained within them I can find them and
have to copy and paste them back into the main "my documents folder".
My anti-virus program shows up nothing in the way of a virus so am just
wondering about this.
I'm using win98 S.E on this machine with office 2000.

Many thanks,

Paul.
