Glad to know it's not me that's buggy therefore the "misery loves
company" rule will apply-LOL Being miserable is better than being buggy.
Hmm is that an oxymoron?!

P.S. based on my experience 2002 is no better than 2000-I'll just have
to get over the identity crisis. Thanks

Jan

Well, Jan...the way it's *supposed* to work is the default setting is
only for new mail....the replies are supposed to go out from the addy
that they came to

But...it's way buggy....whenever I tried it, my NEW mail would go out
from the addy I last replied to, even if it wasn't my default...so I
hear ya....all I can say is it's a bug in Outlook 2000 and seems to work
better in 2002, but I haven't really put it to the test.

Sorry. All I can say is I been where you are...if the "misery loves
company" rule helps any LOL

Oh such fun to be a rookie! The response below received when I sent a
reply to the list under an email address that is not subscribed.

Question: I have several email addresses I use and have set
jan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx as my default. Seems for some reason it changes
the account to my ISP email account jmacworld@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Or does it
only change it when an email is received at that address. Make sense?

Account set to use jan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx as default for email. Receive
an email at one of my other addresses. Reply to that email must go out
under the address it was sent to instead of the address I have selected
as default Each subsequent email goes out under that address until I
reselect the correct address from the accounts button. Why doesn't it
stay with the address I select as default? Or do I have to select an
account every time I send an email?

Outlook 2002

Thanks,

jan
